Educational Value

The Cincinnati Zoo provides schools, children, and families with field trips and programming starting with preschool through high school and college. Families can be reimbursed for the following: Zoo Troop Camp (Spring, Summer, Winter, Holiday) Family Day Programs (Hurray for Mom, Hurray for Dad, The Zoo Gourmet) General Admission, Membership (up to $165). Families that have a SNAP/EBT card can purchase reduced admission or membership at the ticketing window when you show your card and ID. Only child/student tickets will be reimbursed for Family Day Programs and General Admission. Not all events may be approved for ACE reimbursement. Families coming on educational field trips can access our self-guided resources at cincinnatizoo.org/fieldtrips. All programs, memberships, and admission are reimbursement only. Please attach a copy of your confirmation with the order number.

Each Service Provider conducts their business differently and may collect payment for their goods/services in one of two ways:

1. Parent/Guardian pays for goods/services at time of service. This type of purchase can be reimbursed with OH ACE account funds directly to the parent/guardian via claim submission with an attached receipt in the OH ACE app as long as the parent/guardian has connected their bank account to the app.

2. Service Provider issues an invoice to the parent/guardian for goods/services. This invoice can be paid directly to the Service Provider using OH ACE account funds by submitting a claim with the attached invoice in the OH ACE app, as long as the Service Provider has set up their account to receive those funds.
