Educational Value

The Dairy Barn Arts Center offers a year-round calendar of exhibitions, events, and educational programs for all ages. In-person (and occasional virtual) classes and workshops are taught by experienced Teaching Artists in a wide range of visual arts mediums. Students have access to quality tools, equipment, and materials with which to explore ideas and expand their skills. Especially serving area youth, are our Summer Art Camp and Teen Art Camp programs, Ohio-registered child day camps. Summer Art Camp provides a joyful exploration of the creative arts and humanities through hands-on artmaking, games, and group activities. Weekly themes connect to our contemporary world and embrace the STEAM approach to learning and inclusive engagement for all. Teen Art Camp emphasizes all stages of the creative process: conceptualization, planning, and execution. The Dairy Barn’s specialized Fiber, Ceramic, and Digital Arts studios, small group sizes, and skilled Instructors create an exceptional experience for young artists. The Dairy Barn Arts Center envisions a world where all people can fully explore their creativity and artistic pursuits, affirming that art is a fundamental part of the human experience.

Each Service Provider conducts their business differently and may collect payment for their goods/services in one of two ways:

1. Parent/Guardian pays for goods/services at time of service. This type of purchase can be reimbursed with OH ACE account funds directly to the parent/guardian via claim submission with an attached receipt in the OH ACE app as long as the parent/guardian has connected their bank account to the app.

2. Service Provider issues an invoice to the parent/guardian for goods/services. This invoice can be paid directly to the Service Provider using OH ACE account funds by submitting a claim with the attached invoice in the OH ACE app, as long as the Service Provider has set up their account to receive those funds.
