Drama Kids of Greater Akron is a franchise member of Drama Kids International the nation's number one Afterschool developmental drama program. Our award winning curriculum spans over 15 years making it so that our students NEVER repeat a lesson! That means a student can start with us in preschool/kindergarten and continue with Drama Kids though 12th grade and NEVER REPEAT A LESSON! But what really makes us different from the rest is the fact that we focus on the actor not the acting. What that means is we focus on building our students self esteem and SEL skills. We focus on developing the child's literacy and public speaking skills through the power of theater. Our students leave the class feeling happy, confident and with stronger social skills. We focus less on line memorization and more on character develop and SEL skills. Our classes are grouped according to age group with our Kinder Kids ages 3.5-5, Lower Primary Creative Drama ages 6-8, Upper Primary Creative Drama ages 9-12 and our DKI Acting Academy ages 13-18.
Each Service Provider conducts their business differently and may collect payment for their goods/services in one of two ways:
1. Parent/Guardian pays for goods/services at time of service. This type of purchase can be reimbursed with OH ACE account funds directly to the parent/guardian via claim submission with an attached receipt in the OH ACE app as long as the parent/guardian has connected their bank account to the app.
2. Service Provider issues an invoice to the parent/guardian for goods/services. This invoice can be paid directly to the Service Provider using OH ACE account funds by submitting a claim with the attached invoice in the OH ACE app, as long as the Service Provider has set up their account to receive those funds.
