Our Drama Kids developmental drama classes and unique teaching methods help all children, from the shy to the outgoing, discover their full potential. Drama Kids develops all kids and teaches them skills they will use throughout their lives to become confident and creative thinkers. Our fully-trained and qualified Developmental Drama instructors are eager to provide weekly programming that helps develop every student’s communication skills, physical education, language arts, literacy, and self-confidence. Significantly, our developmental drama program design is research-based with a sequential curriculum that aligns to Common Standards in English Language Arts, in Physical Education, and in Theater. All drama activities encourage students to build their foundational reading skills, including identifying key details in a story, re-telling stories, and building vocabulary. Students strengthen their oral communication, grammar, poise, and articulation. Further, our goals to develop every child’s literacy and communication skills, creative thinking, and confidence are met by offering arts activities that directly impact academic benefits; the link between arts engagement and student success has been thoroughly proven. Drama Kids classes feature new lesson plans, scenes, and activities each week. Each class features many different components, including whole class plays, speech, scene starters, and small group improvisations. Each class meets once weekly for one hour after school or in the evenings. Our programs can be found in schools and various community center locations. We offer the opportunity to perform in musicals as well as plays and since we are not community theater EVERYONE gets a part no auditions required.

Each Service Provider conducts their business differently and may collect payment for their goods/services in one of two ways:

1. Parent/Guardian pays for goods/services at time of service. This type of purchase can be reimbursed with OH ACE account funds directly to the parent/guardian via claim submission with an attached receipt in the OH ACE app as long as the parent/guardian has connected their bank account to the app.

2. Service Provider issues an invoice to the parent/guardian for goods/services. This invoice can be paid directly to the Service Provider using OH ACE account funds by submitting a claim with the attached invoice in the OH ACE app, as long as the Service Provider has set up their account to receive those funds.
