Educational Value

No Sweat Nature Study online classes teach science through the lens of nature study to children in 1st-8th grades. Via Zoom webinar, families can opt to join two live classes per month (or watch replays from a library of well over 100 previously recorded classes). The classes are well-suited for multiple ages and teach in-depth science vocabulary and concepts in an interactive and fun way. During each class, children work to create a nature journal page as I teach. In the end, they have a beautiful finished product that also serves as a reminder about the scientific information they learned. The topics are chosen to cover a wide variety of plant, animal, earth, and space science throughout the year. Each lesson comes with an educational packet full of extra resources for parents if they so choose. There is a correlating podcast episode for most topics, too. Additionally, the library of recorded classes is organized to help parents pick and choose topics that might fit with other things they are already learning. No Sweat Nature Study video classes can be used alongside other science curriculum. However, there are plenty of resources and class options to use the program as the entire science curriculum, excluding human anatomy, chemistry, and physics. Each Service Provider conducts their business differently and may collect payment for their goods/services in one of two ways:

1. Parent/Guardian pays for goods/services at time of service. This type of purchase can be reimbursed with OH ACE account funds directly to the parent/guardian via claim submission with an attached receipt in the OH ACE app as long as the parent/guardian has connected their bank account to the app.

2. Service Provider issues an invoice to the parent/guardian for goods/services. This invoice can be paid directly to the Service Provider using OH ACE account funds by submitting a claim with the attached invoice in the OH ACE app, as long as the Service Provider has set up their account to receive those funds.
