Educational Value

As a qualified reading teacher licensed in Ohio in grades PreK - 3, I will provide tutoring services to help your child build on their literacy strengths while also helping them to develop the skills that are in their area of need and teach strategies to improve reading skills. Tutoring services will include but are not limited to: pre- and post-diagnostic assessments help mastering sight words learning and understanding new vocabulary establish reading strategies to improve reading and comprehension help developing handwriting skills for correct letter formation sentence structure (capital, spacing, punctuation) work on identifying letter-sound correspondence ...and more depending on your child's needs... Tutoring services are educationally valuable to a student because the lessons are individualized and the student can receive one-on-one direct instruction in the major areas of need. While improving the student's reading skills, tutoring gives the student a boost in their literacy abilities, fluency, comprehension skills, and reading level as well as improves academic performance and success in school.

Each Service Provider conducts their business differently and may collect payment for their goods/services in one of two ways:

1. Parent/Guardian pays for goods/services at time of service. This type of purchase can be reimbursed with OH ACE account funds directly to the parent/guardian via claim submission with an attached receipt in the OH ACE app as long as the parent/guardian has connected their bank account to the app.

2. Service Provider issues an invoice to the parent/guardian for goods/services. This invoice can be paid directly to the Service Provider using OH ACE account funds by submitting a claim with the attached invoice in the OH ACE app, as long as the Service Provider has set up their account to receive those funds.
