Achievement Advantage Assessment & Services, located in Lyndhurst, Ohio, is a private school psychology practice. It is operated by Jennifer Murphy, Ph.D., and Greer Davis Cerveny, Ed.S. We specialize in comprehensive assessments focused on academic and executive functioning skills, evidence-based interventions, superior consultation services, and professional development presentations. Our practice has two distinct branches and services provided: the assessment branch and the tutoring branch. Only the tutoring branch of our services would be eligible to participate in the ACE Ohio Program. Our tutoring services are provided using Wilson Language Training’s program for struggling readers: Wilson Reading System, Just Words, and Fundations. The Wilson Reading System is the primary program that is used to provide tutoring services. Wilson Reading is a program that targets all five of the main components of reading: phonemic awareness, alphabetic principle, vocabulary, reading fluency, and comprehension. The educational value of our tutoring services is to close the gap between the struggling readers that we work with and grade-level reading standards. Grade-level reading skills are an essential component of a student’s ability to access educational materials across content areas.
Each Service Provider conducts their business differently and may collect payment for their goods/services in one of two ways:
1. Parent/Guardian pays for goods/services at time of service. This type of purchase can be reimbursed with OH ACE account funds directly to the parent/guardian via claim submission with an attached receipt in the OH ACE app as long as the parent/guardian has connected their bank account to the app.
2. Service Provider issues an invoice to the parent/guardian for goods/services. This invoice can be paid directly to the Service Provider using OH ACE account funds by submitting a claim with the attached invoice in the OH ACE app, as long as the Service Provider has set up their account to receive those funds.
Please check with each Service Provider ahead of a purchasing decision to ensure you are aware of their policy regarding payment at time of service or invoicing.
