Educational Value

Music is something that is invaluable for our students! The students I have in lessons excel in other areas of their lives such as academics. They learn discipline, responsibility, coordination, and the other wonderful things music has to offer like learning rhythm, pitch, and how to play with others. I love watching my students start out not knowing how to get the violin out of their case, and then in a short amount of time, they are playing entire songs. An important aspect of learning an instrument is consistency in practice and coming to lessons every week. Missing one of these two aspects hinders the student in learning and one of my goals as a teacher is to take away any roadblocks a student may encounter so they can focus on learning and being the best musician and person, they can be. Every student deserves an equal chance at learning regardless of the family income.

Each Service Provider conducts their business differently and may collect payment for their goods/services in one of two ways:

1. Parent/Guardian pays for goods/services at time of service. This type of purchase can be reimbursed with OH ACE account funds directly to the parent/guardian via claim submission with an attached receipt in the OH ACE app as long as the parent/guardian has connected their bank account to the app.

2. Service Provider issues an invoice to the parent/guardian for goods/services. This invoice can be paid directly to the Service Provider using OH ACE account funds by submitting a claim with the attached invoice in the OH ACE app, as long as the Service Provider has set up their account to receive those funds.
