The faith-based Performing Arts Academy provides opportunities that enhance character, promote well-being, and inspire greatness by developing people through the Arts. The Academy desires to change lives by offering affordable, quality music and dance education, positive theatre experiences, and an appreciation for the Arts. We offer voice, dance and instrument lessons on a weekly basis and provide theatre experiences that includes most age groups. We expect each individual to strive for their best potential and learn to interact with others. The Academy's instructors are accredited instructors or individuals with extensive life experience in their fields. The Performing Arts Academy organized as a nonprofit business in Ohio in January of 2008 and received its tax-exempt designation from the IRS on April 8, 2008. The primary geographical focus of PAA encompasses Butler and Warren counties in Ohio. The foundation on which the Academy is built goes back to 1998 with the advent of a local community theatre organization for children which was started by a Middletown church musician who wanted to offer an opportunity for young children to participate in a musical designed just for them. The sets, costumes and production values were very simple at that time, and the program quickly grew from its humble beginnings. We now own our own facility which houses all of our activities. Most of our registrations are accomplished on-line through our website utilizing a company named Sawyer. Upon registration, there are a number of questions regarding behavior, health restrictions, etc.
